Our Story
On July 1, 2021, NIL took the nation by storm. Collegiate athletes could profit off of their fame, and Universities, athlete agents, and collectives began to flock to the aid of student-athletes.
For the past three years, I have dedicated my professional career to assisting athletes with brand development, growing their social media value, providing education around NIL, and helping Nebraska student-athletes profit and partner with brands.
However, there has been one common theme. The brands and companies athletes hope to partner with don’t know how to properly structure a NIL deal, what rules and regulations to follow, how to form a contract for an endorsement, and what a typical rate for partnership costs.
That is why we started NIL Nebraska. Where we put businesses, first. Today, every student-athlete knows what a NIL deal is, and how to fulfill their side of an agreement. However, the amazing businesses in our community have been underrepresented and are missing out on the value and opportunity a NIL partnership can bring.
